Easley High School Athletic Department Announcement

 

RE:  Introduction of New Easley High School Head Varsity Boys Soccer Coach

 

Mr. William Rodriguez has been tabbed as the new Head Boys Soccer Coach at Easley High School.  Coach Rodriguez served as the assistant Boys Varsity Coach during the spring of 2019 and has over 30 years of soccer experience at the collegiate, high school, and club levels.  Coach Rodriguez played collegiately at Southern Wesleyan University from 1984-1988.  Coach Rodriguez has also coached numerous soccer club teams since his college playing days have ended.  In 2006, he became a founding member of the Easley Soccer Club and served as Academy Program Director from 2006-2011 and then Director of Soccer Operations from 2011-2017 for ESC.  He also coached numerous levels of club teams at ESC from 2006-2017.

 

Coach Rodriguez has a BS in Business Administration from Southern Wesleyan University and also holds a USSF National D License in Soccer Coaching.  William is no stranger to Easley High School as his wife Lynn is a math teacher at EHS and his son Ryan is a junior in the EHS Soccer Program.
