Each month the Sport Clips Spotlight will recognize our outstanding student-athletes who have accomplished great achievements or have demonstrated characteristics deserving of recognition. 

The following Easley High student-athletes are being acknowledged for their character, academic accomplishments, leadership skills, and service to others.



Olivia Durham – class of 2020

What sport(s) do you participate in at Easley High?

Varsity Softball

What is your favorite inspirational quote and who said it?

“Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference” Winston Churchill

Who is your favorite professional athlete & why?

Serena Williams – because of what she has accomplished for women on and off the court, and I love her work ethic.

What is your favorite meal to eat?

Grilled chicken, macaroni and cheese, and collard greens

What is your favorite sports-related memory?

My all-time personal memory is when I hit a grand slam against Daniel during my sophomore year, but the best memories have been the bus rides home with my teammates after a big win.

What is one thing on your bucket list?

Travel through Europe

What is one word that describes you & why?

Dedicated – because I give my all in everything I do

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Teaching 2nd grade and working on my master’s degree in education

Baseball

What is your favorite inspirational quote and who said it?

“Start strong, Finish stronger”

Who is your favorite professional athlete & why?

Alex Bregman – because of how hard he works

What is your favorite meal to eat?

Steak (medium rare) and baked potato

What is your favorite sports-related memory?

2 run homer vs Dorman in the district championship during junior season

What is one thing on your bucket list?

Go to every MLB stadium

What is one word that describes you & why?

Chill- I’m easy going off the field but know how to flip the switch when its game time

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Graduating from Anderson University and starting grad school for physical therapy
