50 Year Reunion of 1967 State Championship Scheduled

A celebration of the undefeated 1967 Football State Championship is currently in the planning stages as of Friday afternoon.  Three players (Keith Godfrey, Grady Gaston, and Rick Gilstrap) along with former Head Coach Larry Bagwell met with EHS Principal Gary Culler and Athletic Director Gill Payne on Friday to begin the preparations of the event.

EHS Wrestling Claims First Region Title

The Easley High School Wrestling team, under head coach Randy Merchant, claimed the first Region Championship in school history on Tuesday night as they defeated previously unbeaten JL Mann.  With the victory, EHS will now host Rounds 1 and 2 of the Upper State 5A Playoffs on Saturday afternoon at the high school gymnasium.   The

EHS Wrestling Improves to 23-2

The EHS Wrestling Team traveled to Riverside High School on Thursday night and continued their exceptional season by beating Riverside 71-6 and St. Joe’s 84-0.  The Easley grapplers are now 23-2 and will be back in action on January 11th at TL Hanna High School.

JV Boys Basketball Tops Wren

The Easley High School JV Boys Basketball team defeated Wren High School 53-40 on Thursday night.  Cameron Moore led all scorers with 19 points, while Malaki Aleman scored 13, and Dey’lon Smith added 9. The Green Wave came out clicking on all cylinders, starting the game on an 18-0 run and leading 21-3 after the first quarter.
