Early Lead For Mann Seals Fate For EHS Green Wave
EHS Green Wave fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 5-1 loss to Mann on Friday. Mann took the lead on a single in the first inning.
Mann got things moving in the first inning. Reed Morrissey singled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.
Caleb Freeman took the win for Mann. He lasted four innings, allowing four hits and one run while striking out five. #17 and #1 entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. #1 recorded the last two outs to earn the save for Mann.
Deyvn Bond took the loss for EHS Green Wave . He went six innings, allowing three runs on six hits, striking out ten and walking one.
EHS Green Wave totaled seven hits in the game. Luke Ryals and Joe Freeman all managed multiple hits for EHS Green Wave . Ryals went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead EHS Green Wave in hits.
Mann tallied seven hits. Tomas Frick and Brian Graham all managed multiple hits for Mann. Frick led Mann with three hits in four at bats.
